Learning Exchanges are carried out among two or more NMHSs in view of addressing specific hydrometric challenges.
Benefits for:
- NMHSs: to sustainably support each other in improving staff technical expertise and to create long-term regional collaboration opportunities
Countries within a basin or region often face similar hydrometric challenges. Their capacities in tackling them can however vary significantly. In view of this, the WMO HydroHub organizes Learning Exchanges between countries to learn from each other how to address specific hydrometric challenges. Here, countries with advanced know-how will transfer their knowledge to countries needing support. These exchanges can also foster long-term support relationships between NMHSs and establish other collaboration opportunities.
