The WMO HydroHub will select individuals from a variety of organizations for the Think Tank, including operational monitoring agencies, research/academia and the private sector/industry. The recruitment will be carried out on a staggered timetable with members appointed for an initial duration of between 1 and 2.5 years.
The WMO HydroHub Think Tank was established at the Extraordinary Session of the World Meteorological Congress (Cg-Ext (2021)) to provide guidance and assistance in implementing activities of the WMO HydroHub. The Think Tank will support innovation and sustainable development of hydrometric monitoring capacity around the world. It will play an active role in implementing the WMO HydroHub’s activities, identifying the capacity development needs of operational hydrometric monitoring agencies and engaging hydrometric communities around the world.
