On August 20th, the WMO HydroHub will take part in the World Water Week at the Focus on the Americas 2023, coordinated by the Water and Sanitation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Building Dynamic Innovation Ecosystems and Collaborative Communities for Driving Impact (Session ID 11134)
This session will introduce the complementary frameworks of innovation ecosystems and catalytic communities to scale innovative solutions to address “wicked water problems”. The session will define wicked problems and identify who can solve them through case studies focused on ecosystems creation and successful programs and platforms.
On this occasion, the WMO HydroHub will present the WMO Case Study on Innovation Calls, and how these initiatives helped to prepare an innovation-ready environment in countries of implementation by enhancing water monitoring, one of the key components to achieving early warnings for all, SDG6 and climate change resilience.
