The Global Hydrometry Support Facility (WMO HydroHub) makes the portfolio of expertise among WMO Members – from science to technology to services – available to support access to end-users of hydrometeorological data and services from various economic sectors as tailored services. These connections help to increase the base of hydrometeorological data – catalyzed by innovative technologies and approaches – to support WMO Members in water-related decision-making.

The WMO HydroHub has been invited to be a Lead Partner in the 2023 Geneva Trialogue on Open Innovation for Education, co-organized by UNITAR, University of Geneva (UNIGE), Open Geneva and Crowd4SDG. The event will take place on 16 March 2023 at CERN, in hybrid format.
Submission Deadline: 31 March 2023
WMO, UNEP, UNESCO, WWQA, JRC and IAEA are soliciting proposals for challenges to accelerate innovation in water quality monitoring and assessment. The selected challenges will be put forward at the upcoming Innovation Workshop on Water Quality Monitoring & Assessment, taking place on 14 - 16 June 2023.

The WMO HydroHub took part into the HydroBID Community of Practice Meeting (ECOP) 2023, which aimed at improving the innovation environment related to the implementation of HydroBID models and HydroBID Support Center services for different sectors, as well as promoting dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and best practices among different actors in the region.
